Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center is proud to have some of the best neurosurgeons in the country. Our surgeons are able to perform procedures that only a few doctors and hospitals are equipped to, including endovascular coiling for the treatment of aneurysms and the treatment of arterio-venous malformation, or AVM.

Injections

Several types of spinal injections are offered. These injections can relieve pain by reducing inflammation and irritation. Injections can also help to diagnose more serious problems that may require surgery. Injections offered include:

Dr. Gilmore
Peter Gilmore, MD
Dr. Gilmore attended the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, and completed his residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is board certified in Neurology. 





Dr. Kruthiventi
Seshurao V. Kruthiventi, MD
Dr. Kruthiventi received his medical degree from Osmania Medical College, in Hyderabad, India. He completed a Neurology Residency at University Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and completed a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at Drexel University in Philadelphia. He has a special interest in the treatment of stroke and epilepsy. 



Dr. Meirelles
Eduardo Meirelles, MD

Dr. Meirelles graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, Illinois. He completed residencies at Yale University and Yale-New Haven Hospital, both in New Haven, Connecticut, and at the University of Tornonto in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Meirelles is a board certified neurosurgeon. 




Dr. Singel
Sören Singel, MD

Dr. Singel graduated from Freie Universitat Berlin, in Berlin, Germany. He completed residencies at Freie Universitat Berlin and the Universtiy of California San Diego Medical Center. Dr. Singel completed a fellowship at Baptist Memorial Hospital, in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Singel is trained in the treatment of AVMs and Endovascular Coiling.
